Statewide Landcover and Trees Study (SLATS)
Queensland has over 72 million ha of forests, woodlands and scrubs with some 60 million ha in areas of potential development. SLATS uses Landsat Thematic Mapper satellite imagery to assess land clearing and vegetation density for the entire State.
